Water leak by ROW. Can see water bubbling up
Utility pole on one side of driveway makes it impossible to enter or exit without hitting it. To get in to his driveway, caller-resident must pull 3-4ft in to neighbor's yard--these neighbors started putting wooden stakes in yard to stop this. The caller-resident eventually hit one of these stakes so the neighbors stopped putting them out but now they complain about caller-resident having to pull in to their yard to get in to their own driveway and are showing aggression to caller-resident. There is no parking on street. Caller-resident has spoken to Ameren about getting the Utility pole moved but they refused. Caller-resident is at a loss and asking for help from code enforcement and possibly zoning to figure out what can be done.
WATER MAIN CAP STICKING UP IN THE STREET SOUTHBOUND UNIVERSITY AT FORREST HILL
On March 22, 2022, Illinois American Water dug up my front yard as well as different areas on the Court. It is May 4 and no one has come back to fill in the holes or clean up the messes left. As a tax payer, I am very irritated that these holes and damage to my yard remain in the yard as well as in surrounding ares on the Court and North St. Also, when they brought all of the equipment, it sat on the Court for several weeks and when they removed the equipment, parts of the grassy area were damaged. For close to 40 years, my family has lived in this house and taken care of the Court as it's not been the City's responsibility. Damage left by City workers makes it difficult to mow. I'm extremely unpleased about this entire process and would like answers to when this work will be complete. I have attached pictures of my yard and a neighbors yard for reference.
the alley behind the 500 & 600 block of West Loucks Ave. could use the street sweeper making a couple of passes. It is a concrete alley way with a lot of debris and leaves.
Potholes are developing on street and long the edge. Thanks for your attention to the matter.
School Zone speed limit sign falling over
Resident left a message that no snow removal has been conducted by property management so walkways and stairs into buildings are icy and dangerous for residents.
Plow took out a post on this residents' car port. If someone from PW could contact her about what can be done to fix this she would appreciate it.
Complaint for the city wide parking ban - Very Angry! I don’t have a driveway or garage. To tell me to park on city property MILES AWAY FROM MY HOME IS LUDICROUS! How am I supposed to get back and forth to my car. I am an Essential Worker. MUST have transportation available at ALL TIMES. I have two vehicles for that very reason. The ban was issued while I am at work. I get off work at 1:30am. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? How Am I Supposed To Move Two Vehicles at 2 in the morning and where am I supposed to move em? And get back to my home twice? Then get back to work on Wednesday. WHY? Emergency Snow Routes have ALWAYS worked in the past. WHY? Side streets won’t be touched for DAYS. Can’t we get back to some common sense? Everyone is NOT in the same position, especially Not in the Older Neighborhoods. WHY? WHY? WHY? What happened to Emergency Snow Routes Only? T Simons
