Alley behind 4000 block of Columbus Avenue. Broadband was installed with no notification and digging was done to bury cable. Now there are Broadband wires strung on top of the ground in various places across the alley to various residences. Why above ground.
The street maintenance manager or whoever is in charge of streets should be fired immediately!!!!! Someone has no idea how to do thier job!!! I've lived in hot cities and I've lived in cold, snowy, constantly plowing the roads cities. Peoria Il has the worst roads in the country. I've seen some cities with some dirt roads still around that are maintained better than peoria roads. Someone in charge has neglected ALL of the roads downtown, NE valley, east bluff and the South side. These roads damage cars constantly. Beating the crap out of the front end of vehicles. You need a 4x4 truck to drive on these roads. Cars front ends designed to last 150,000 miles will all need replaced before 50,000 miles because of peoria roads. And revitalize the downtown? Why? Nobody wants to drive to anything on those roads anyway. And wow do those roads make the downtown look unmaintained. Ghost towns have better streets. These should have been replaced 20 years ago. Patching ancient roads with bandaids isn't working for these roads anymore. DO YOUR JOB AND REPLACE THE USED UP ROADS!!!!! Some of the highest taxes in the country and some of the worst roads too. Doesn't make sense. Someone isn't doing thier job. And recently I was told potholes on my street don't need filled or patched because the street looks better than others. I guess 10 potholes or less doesn't require fixing because our town is crap and we should just get used to it.
large pothole in middle of street almost. Down to trolley rails and old brick , very deep.
"Near Dock 44 @ Riverfront (near the bridge) Leaking water. Between the dock and the concrete that's near the dock." (The water is not splashing from the actual river)
