Having a problem with a neighbor keeping her garbage can on my property. When it is windy her can falls into my yard more and her garbage is in my yard. She does not pick it up. I have gone to court house and gotten info on how to find my property line I have rented a metal detector and found my property line. It is also marked in the ground by bricks. I put up something partial and attach a hand made sign which simply says no trespassing Property line. She can see the property line is marked. She put her trash can back on my property. When I said I want your trash can off my property she yelled insults and threatened me. She parked her car in her driveway to block the garbage can from being moved. I just want her garbage can and garbage to remain out of my yard. They should not be on the property line anyways. It destroys my grass and now she has put it in another area still on my property. Please ask her to put her trash can by her house.
It's nice the old trashed houses are finally getting torn down but after they are done nobody puts any grass seed down and the lots just fill up with weeds that grow fast and spread all over the neighborhoods. Could you please put some grass seed down after removing old houses. They mow the lots and weeds grow right back in a couple of days attracting gnats and mosquitoes. Even just a cheaper contractor grade grass seed would be fine.
Resident has 2 dogs that do not have tags so are not likely registered nor have shots up to date. Dogs are of the pit bull standard
Residents are being verbally informed by maintenance and management that air conditioning is a luxury and service issues will no longer be addressed. Multiple tenants in complex have complained about no air conditioning. This is concerning for residents who have health issues and worry about their air conditioning going out also. We need clarification on if there is anything the city can do in these type of situations.
The in ground pool at 2306 is filled with disgusting water. They do not take care of it. It should be drained and covered. It will be a huge nest for mosquitos this year. Please see picture of the nasty water in the pool. Both neighbors have very small children which that water could be harmful to their health
On March 22, 2022, IL American Water dug up my front yard as well as different areas on the Court. It is May 4 and no one has come back to fill in the holes or clean up the mess. As a tax payer, I'm very irritated that these holes remain in the yard as well as in surrounding areas of the Court and North St. Also, when they brought all of the equipment, it sat on the court for several weeks and when they removed the equipment, parts of the grassy court were damaged. For close to 40 years my family has lived in this house and taken care of the court as it's not been kept up by anyone in the City. Damage to the court and yards makes it difficult for mowing. I'm extremely pleased about this entire process and would like answers to when this work will be complete. I have attached pictures of my yard for reference.
This resident has cut firewood stored on the ground next to the garage.
House sits on the alley. Very little driveway. Many cars jammed into little spaces. Many times,cars are parked halfway in alley not allowing cars to use this alley. This alley connects several side streets to Forrest Hill. Once, from turning off Forrest Hill into this alley, one of their cars was parked with occupants in it. They refused to move, got out of their car, called me a b*tch and said they weren't moving. Had to try to back out, back onto Forrest Hill which is busy and dangerous.Today, car with occupants was sitting parked in the alley while having a conversation with a tenant of this house. They saw me trying to drive through the alley and again refused to move. Please send someone out to explain that they don't own this alley, have no right to park in it or make it unusable for the rest of us who live here.
Hello, can we do something about the pan handling, it's getting out of control, i've seen at least all the major panhandlers walk back to their cars at the end of the night. I work as a janitorial supervisor so i drive all through peoria every night, and it's getting ridiculous. There was one yesterday with a dog in the middle of wal memorial on the smallest median. I hope to god that dog is fine the fact they put it in that situation is disgusting., i do not feel bad for calling them out, at 8:45 PM he was walking back to his decent lexus parked at the Circle K. can we at least make an ordinance to restrict where they can do it to downtown? If this continues then there no reason for there to be a business in peoria that employs women and men to wear sleazy attire and pan handle. there is nothing illegal to it. Sleazy men and women are more likely to pay an attractive person exposing themselves then a sleazebag abusing a dog.
