There us a solid white line to separate the 2 lanes of drivers exiting I-74, for those going East and those going West. I use the lane to go west, but people ignore the solid line and just cruise over into the left side into westbound exit lane without even looking. Is it possible to put those white plastic type bumps on that solid white divider line to make people more aware that they are not to switch lanes there? I have been run off the side more than once because they do not use a signal or even look. I am aware it is a problem and take caution but the clueless people need to be made aware by a more effective way to let them know they are not to cross the solid white line there. Thank you.
many cars speeding on this street at all times of the day, everyday
tennant at this address drives exremely fast while children are playing in this residential neighborhood. the vehicle is a silver lincoln ls license plate V778265
silver lincoln ls blasting extremly loud music.
Need speedometer machine stationed at top of hill; people are speedingdown Lake Street. Previous report was closed without any action being taken. Please slow these cars, semis, and trailers down; this is still a residential area.
Parking in a no parking zone
we have lived at this location 2 years and this seems to get worse. The speed limit on Moss is 20, and even at our location 3 doors down from Sheridan, people are already accelerating to 40 mph. I have seen a car almost hit an elderly man crossing this "residential " street, and blare a horn at him because he didn't limp fast enough across the street for their pleasure. This jewel of Peoria has become an utterly miserable place to live. The noise from speeding cars and danger makes it difficult to live here. Our school buses are some of the worst violators, racing down the street in morning and afternoon. I should think the city can make a lot of money in fines, the problem has become so bad. if a traffic circle was installed at Douglas, or a speedbump/crosswalk, it would curtail the speeders before they can get started on their race to Union Street. Please help. We are miserable here.
Need the speedometer machine set back up at the top of the hill on Lake for the summer. Everybody floors it to get up the hill & keeps it floored as they race down the street. Supposed to be 35; there are kids all around here!
The insane amount of people that get in the right lane to cross over War Memorial . They use that turn lane ( Florence Street) to the jump over into traffic that is in the straight lane. So many possibilities for accidents.
mixing truck, working at ally at parking lot, drives the wrong way down one way 1000 block of North Underhill Street.
