Tenants are without water and owner would like them out. Tenants lease is up and they refuse to sign a new one.
The Village Apartments. Tenant believes there is lead paint in her apartment, her son's doctor has found lead in his blood. Doctor recommended she call and get code enforcement to come out to confirm the presence of lead.
Furnace actively leaking carbon monoxide confirmed by Ameren, landlord has refused to fix for over two weeks. Also live exposed wires. Can code enforcement put pressure on landlord to fix?
Needs garage windows boarded up, neighborhood kids broke all the windows out. Hole in garage door. Shingles rotting.
Apt B -No smoke alarms, no carbon monoxide alarms in this apt building -Walls buckling from mold damage (I did advise caller that the city will not treat the mold but it was necessary to report because it's causing structural damage.)
Abandoned house. Neighborhood teens using house/garage as a crash-pad. Garage has no door on it, basement windows broken out. Kids have been seen coming and going--loitering on neighbor's property next door (shared driveway).

-Makeshift electrical wire coming out of fireplace, wiring goes in to bricks and visibly reaches down to apartment downstairs with damage to the wiring and the wall. There are many more specifics to this that I didnt understand, resident seems to have some knowledge of electrical. Sounds very unsafe.
