Vacant home. Currently boarded. Someone ripped the board off cellar and there is now a big hole. (Previously had a pad lock but it was torn off with the door) Lots of children in the area. Has been known to have squatters
Caller states this abundant home is unsafe and needs to be demolished.
Roof falling in and is infested with racoons and mice. Also has people going in anfd out
House sits at top of hill, large above-ground pool near back of property. Pool has been full of the same stagnant water for at least 3 years, full of frogs, mosquitos, fallen branches, moss etc. Unclear whether property is fenced in, could be a hazard to neighborhood children.
1301 NE Glendale Ave, Peoria, IL 61603 Tammy Aamir 309.863.9801 elevator is down this is the 6th day had a water main leak and the clients are unable to leave the building because the elevator is down. Caller has requested a follow up call upon investigation of the complaint.
Roof is gone, porch is basically gone. Home needs to be demolished. Has been empty at least 10-15 years.
Property owner/landlord calling to ask code enforcement to go to this rental and put pressure on the tenants to get their water turned back on. He says he found out the tenants have not had the water on for over a month--he is beginning the eviction process but wants code to come out because it will still be a while going through the process and there are children living in the house without water (or trash) services active.
This house has been vacant for years while slowing falling apart. The brick chimney fell off some time ago and now the porch is about to give way. Neighbor says one good wind storm could take the whole house.
Housefire here in September of 2021, house is not liveable but people have been seen coming and going regularly for months since the fire. Neighbors are very concerned.
