Fire at property a few weeks ago. Landlord did not have one working smoke detector. Landlord paid someone to wash and paint the walls. Planned on keeping the soiled carpet but helpers decided to tear it up it was black from the fire. He plans on renting ASAP. Fountain is caving in with extra support in the basement. Cracks in foundation and water pours into basement causing major mold problems. Neighbor has seen rats leaving basement through open windows. Roof and windows had damage and he is fixing with band aides. The place is disgusting and nobody should be living there with zero professional cleaning after the fire. All the neighbors agree it should be torn down. You can smell the “smoke” as you get close to the home. How do you keep a slumlord from renting a house that is not livable??
Caller states nothing has been done about this property and that the garage is in despair.
Abandoned home. The city had previously boarded up the house but someone has removed the boards and people have been seen coming and going. Also, the garage in back of property is collapsing--someone removed the door to the garage and its full of general debris and you can see the rood caving in from inside. This could be a hazard for children in the neighborhood.
The porch roof looks like it could collapse anytime.
Resident here has built a 3 story structure in backyard, about 10ft from property lines with neighbors.
House needs reboarded. Little kids are playing in it like a fort.
3ft deep pool with no fence around it in the front yard. No adults seen outside. Pool is full at all times.
Tree on ROW at NE Glen Oak Ave. and Indiana St. is splitting in half. I own property at 907 NE Glen Oak. Thank you!
