snow removal truck damaged the mailbox. gave me a temporary one when it happened. I would like you to come back and install the original one.
Not sure who knocked the mailbox down but last night while it was snowing my mailbox was destroyed.
About 3 weeks ago during the last major snow storm, I woke to find our mailbox covered in snow from a snow plow, ice, dirt and rocks were on top of the mailbox. The mailbox was leaning very badly to the right and the neighbors mailbox which is very close to ours was leaning badly as well. I inspected the mailbox to find the mailbox was ripped away from the nails in the wood and was only being held up by the large amount of ice and snow around it from the snow plowing that was done that night or morning. Now that the snow has melted, our mailbox is completely broken off and laying on the ground. The postal worker advised me to contact the city for a replacement and that he could not deliver mail if the mailbox is down on the ground. Please help. Thank you.
