The curb of the roundabout matches the color of the road which makes it difficult to distinguish between the 2. All around the curb of the roundabout are black marks from tires. I coat of brightly colored paint on the curb would fix the problem. “Don’t come to me with your problems, bring me your solutions.” SR # 34541
Can you ask the park district to shovel the sidewalks around the park or whoever is responsible. A lot of people use these sidewalks as it connects the East Bluff to Averyville. If the Park District isn't responsible can you shovel it or make whoever is? SR#033749 entered 01/04/18 for investigation.
None of the commercial businesses on Knoxville are clearing their sidewalks. Service Req #033748 entered, for investigation and action.
Hello- In September of this year, IL American Water brought in heavy equipment to repair an underground water line break on property adjoining my backyard at 7084 Aycliffe, Peoria, IL 61614. I live at the adjoining property at 3616 W. Brenwick Drive. In doing so they broke the sidewalk between our two homes that fronts on Chartwell Drive, and they failed to repair the same. I contacted IAW and they said they would fix it, but did not do so. After repeated attempts to get IAW to respond, I contacted the City. The City followed up and IAW came out to do the work, but instead of fixing the sidewalk they broke, they needlesly tore out and replaced two panels of sidewalk in front of 7084 Aycliffe. When I called IAW and told them they tore out the wrong portion of sidewalk, they came back to repair the area they actually broke, but they failed to do so correctly. They failed to weigh down their barricades and I assume the wind blew them over and they fell into the wet cement leaving deep impressions in the replaced square of concrete fronting on Chartwell Drive between our two houses. I notifed IAW of the same. They have failed to return to remedy those issues. Moreover, they have left the barricades, fallen barrier tape strewn hazardously across the sidewalk, wooden stakes protruding along the sidewalk presenting a trip and impaling hazard, and excavated ground/open holes along the borders of the the sidewalk for over a month. I am attaching a photo. I am unable to attach additional photos showing the other damage. I have contacted IL American Water at least a half dozen times, in addition to contacting the City. Among the people I have talked to at IL American are Jenny Woods (566-4135) and Brent Joost (566-4135). All at IAW have assured me the issue will be resolved but it has not. Please feel free to contact me for additional information. I have tried my best to be patient and work with IAW but they have been remarkably incompetent and unresponsive. Thank you. has the city approved the driveway design/installation at 1032 ne monroe? this is a national historic district so I would hope that the existing brick sidewalks will be preserved; however, the elevation/grade of the driveway is completely incompatible with the existing elevation of the current sidewalks on that property and the neighboring properties. Please require this to be cut back and repoured with an appropriate slope to match the established sidewalk elevations. SR#032962 entered 11/27/17

In Hawley Hills subdivision, there are two protruding water valve access covers on the sidewalk in front of 6811 N. Hunters Trace. These covers are creating a tripping hazard for all walkers.
At McClure and North, there are orange barrels and a snow fence that have been left. If there is a reason for these to be there, can they be replaced with something better looking? SR#26614
