Rats are going in and out of the basement window. I live next door and have seen it from my dining room window. There are also raccoons living in the roof above the front porch.
Garbage all over the ground around shed out front. This will draw rodents and we don’t want that in our neighborhood !! Screen is busted out of front door just hanging there.
I walk my dog every day on Wisconsin, and every time my dog starts to chase rats in the yard of 3014 Wisconsin. This is disgusting, and I’m afraid my dog will get bit and get one of many diseases. I also see plates out there all the time with with table scraps on it like she’s feeding them or something. Please take care of this.
We have called MULTIPLE times regarding rats coming from our surrounding neighbors. They are essentially coming from the sewer ditch at the end of our street with the hotels on Brandywine being on the other side of the fence. There is a cut out where at the end of Baywood (one street over). We believe they are coming through there as well. We’ve caught 5 yes 5 babies already! This is out of hand. Once you see what filth of a yard our neighbor has, you’ll understand why they are so prominent. Someone please do something. Our next step will be contacting the news stations to let the word out how unfortunate a situation as disgusting as this is handled. We have small children. Please do something.
There has been a dumpster in the driveway of an abandoned house next door since last summer. A couple weeks ago we noticed a HUGE possum in our yard and last night the same possum bit my dog, a chihuahua, when she was defending her yard. The possum ran under the deck of the abandoned house and has been living in the dumpster. I know they don’t carry rabies and help eat bugs but that wasn’t a common move for a possum. Also last summer we called the city about the abandoned house at 4003 N Brookside Dr. and the mosquito breeding ground it held. We can’t even walk outside without them eating us alive including our dogs. We have sprayed and fogged but nothing will work. The city manager said his particular office doesn’t handle mosquito problems. What can be done about this house? It making everyone miserable in a decent neighborhood. We all take care of our properties.
2606 N.E. Madison behind Tony's Market, yellow house w/ rats everywhere caller stated
Vacant abandoned rental frequented by vagrants and becoming a home for mold and wild animals creating unsafe conditions for reasons of fire and basic sanitation issues. Not to mention the property values of surrounding homes and the overgrowth and neglect of the gutters and vegetation. Also has become a habitat for many rodents and bugs.
There is a pile of brush in the alley behind 1000 W Nowland Ave and I saw multiple rats running in and out of this brush pile.
