Extreme speeding next to pedestrian walk way
Vehicles don’t respect the pedestrian cross walk sign. It’s unsafe for families specially due to people speeding on this road. Something must be done before someone gets hurt!
Vehicles speeding on this road is a serious problem specially when people are using walk path with pets and children. People don’t slow down even when there are families on the path.
People using pedestrian walk path to pass other vehicles.
There have been several incidents where people race up and down N. Brookside Dr. to get from Westport or to Bainter Street. Bainter is the street that has the traffic lights to get out onto Sterling. People fly up and down this road so incredibly fast. We have personally yelled at people to slow down because they act like it’s the Indy 500. There are children in the area on North Brookside and on Westport. In fact one child is autistic and is learning the rules of the road with his bicycle but people race up and down both streets so quickly it would be a matter of time before someone gets severely hurt. Is there any way that we can petition for speed bumps. It’s getting out of hand and someone’s going to drive recklessly into someone’s front yard. Please help.
