The vegetation in the roundabout at Frink and Russell a block north of Main is grown out over the roadway Inhibiting visibility and safe passage.
I have been working in my yard the last few days and have seen many people racing down Austin Drive, between Fairmont Drive and Sheridan Road. The posted speed limit is 30 MPH, (only one sign at each end of Austin), but it is largely ignored. Being a realist, I am aware that there is not enough traffic to warrant police presence. I also believe the radar signs being used in the city are ignored. Speed bumps are not ignored more than once. What is required to have them installed, before one of the children on the street is injured? If they are justified on Linn Street, they are surely justified on Austin Drive.
Alleyway from 848 E. Maywood Avenue to 928 E. Maywood Ave. is a hazard. It is an 'L' shaped alley that causes a blind spot at the turn. Residents would also like some type of 'blockade ate the Maryland Avenue entrance. Persons are jumping the curb with 4-wheelers and racing in the alley causing addition danger as there is a blind spot.
