My first inquiry regards when (Late Season) Off-Road Construction along the W. Nebraska and Lehman Road area will end. Several within my neighborhood use CityLink mass transit. However, the aforementioned construction hinders vehicular passage and forced the buses to temporarily relocate the Nebraska & Pierson bus stop. Which is much farther away onto the already dangerous Sterling & Nebraska intersection plagued with flashing traffic lights.
NE Corner of forest hill and Wisconsin. Street sign not fastened to pole
When traveling north on 474, coming to 74 off ramp towards Peoria, there are 2 construction cone bottoms, the black rings only, in the middle of the lane. I had to swerve onto the shoulder to avoid hitting them. They would not have been visible in the dark.
Intersection of N. New York and E. Frye: Stop signs regularly being run at high speeds. Neighborhood residents are worried as multiple young children have almost been hit numerous times since school started. Residents are requesting any help that can be given. Flashing yellow lights, a speed monitoring device, more "School Zone Speed Limit" signs--something would be great.
We need a stop sign on Hickory Grove at Granite. There was another accident there this morning and its a huge safety concern with kids crossing at the interesection going to school. The stop sign needs to be on the west side of the intersection so cars traveling from Dunlap into Peoria have to stop. This is ridiculous that the sign hasn’t been installed yet considering its at a kids crossing for school. Thanks for helping. Josh Martin Wynncrest HOA, President 309.264.5909
Would like speed bumps placed in this area. There are children in the area and people are ignoring 25mph speed sign. CHILDREN ARE IN DANGER OF SPEEDING CARS
Why are there cones in the middle of Knoxville at Glen? They disrupt traffic on both directions and it doesn’t appear work is being done ON Knoxville. It’s a traffic hazard heading south because cars still turn left. And traffic gets backed up heading north.
There needs to be a sign placed stating it isn't a through street due to construction.
People are running through stop signs at intersection of E. Nebraska and N. New York Ave. This is located by the East Bluff Community Center. Is it possible to place a speed bump, flashing light or something in this area. Someone was injured today in a wreck/accident.
There are no “30 mph Speed Limit” signs posted going south on Sheridan from War Memorial to Forest Hill. Traffic is traveling in excess of the speed limit which endangers pedestrians and other vehicles. The speed should should not be above 30 mph. This is a high traffic area. Buehler Home, St. Plilomena, PPS school…. Because of vehicles traveling above speed limit, the two sets of pedestrian crossing lights along that stretch are often being ignored when flashing. In an effort to slow traffic, a resident on Sheridan has placed their own “Children Playing” sign in their front yard to try and slow traffic. Please install more speed limit signs stating 30 mph along this stretch of Sheridan. Thank you. Lynne Anderson-Loy 3304 North Biltmore 309-648-1840
