TOO Many close calls on the corner of bootz and corrington. I am very surprised that no one has been killed from people blowing the stop sign and racing down our streets. We are just getting more and more children in our area and that is great, but it is not great when they are scared to play outside or ride their bike on the sidewalk! Speed bumps would salve a lot of this! The only time this slowed down was when the aardvark was parked on our street. I would even take that over the crazy drivers.
Inoperable vehicles in driveway and a car blocking the sidewalk most days. The house radiates a smell to the street and the yard / house is poorly maintained.
There should be a blinking stop sign under the walk way, going up and down the hill, near the older part of OSF. I walk around the hospital every day and see people not even stop. Someone is going to get ran over if there is no change. I can take a picture if you are not familiar with the area.

A caller reported there are many vehicles that park on the wrong side of the street (in different directions) in the 1200 block of E. Virginia Avenue (across from Glen Oak Park) daily after hours (late afternoon and evenings). According to caller this weekend there were about 30 vehicles gathered and parked on the wrong side of the road in different directions. She noted they are not Intimidated by anyone and she said she saw a city vehicle ride past and did not even stop. She would like something done about this situation. As she was speaking, she indicated there were vehicles starting to gather as they do daily.
