real bad ice no way to stop before in lane of adams st. ice is expected but on the streets at adams with hills. please salt or sand so there is any thing but slid smoth ice. all sharp hills in area north of jefferson adams split. Please maybe cold melt please SR#033519 entered 12/26/17
Due to the recent road construction on Northmoor many people are still using Graceland to cut thru Rolling Acres. The road has 2 inclines that are sometimes hard to get up when snow is on the road. Many times people get stuck on the road which becomes impassible. I would like to see this road and Rosemead be put on the snow route. Once drivers come down Austin the turn onto Graceland the turn east on Daytona and then north on Rosemead. At Northmoor there is a 4-way stop light and the traffic heading east on Northmoor is backed up in the morning and afternoons. Drivers are using the Graceland-Daytona-Rosemead to get thru the neighborhood. SR#033509 entered 12/26/17 Crews will check these roads today.
Rollingbrook Subdivision off of Alta Rd is really bad with ice. Especially needs salt near stop signs and the exit from the neighborhood. Cars can't climb small incline from a stop when entering Alta from Brookshire Drive. Thanks!

There are ice patches and unplowed/unsalted snow all up and down War Memorial. I hit patches this morning in the following locations: -just past Northwoods Mall, in the intersection where you turn into Target, I felt my tires slide and skid in a manner consistent with black ice (right lane) -the right lane that opens up before you enter IL-6 was completely covered with snow and ice -several turn lanes (left and right) on War Memorial between Peoria Heights and Grand Prairie were fully or partially covered with snow and ice
