The snowplow skipped the alley behind the odd side of the 300 block of West Armstrong. Garbage truck will skip us again if it’s not plowed by Wednesday morning. Thanks.
The 6600 block of Randwick Dr., in Peoria has not been plowed. This is a dead end street and cars are getting stuck and cannot get out. This is in Creighton Woods. Please can this area get plow asap. Thank you
Complaint for the city wide parking ban - Very Angry! I don’t have a driveway or garage. To tell me to park on city property MILES AWAY FROM MY HOME IS LUDICROUS! How am I supposed to get back and forth to my car. I am an Essential Worker. MUST have transportation available at ALL TIMES. I have two vehicles for that very reason. The ban was issued while I am at work. I get off work at 1:30am. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? How Am I Supposed To Move Two Vehicles at 2 in the morning and where am I supposed to move em? And get back to my home twice? Then get back to work on Wednesday. WHY? Emergency Snow Routes have ALWAYS worked in the past. WHY? Side streets won’t be touched for DAYS. Can’t we get back to some common sense? Everyone is NOT in the same position, especially Not in the Older Neighborhoods. WHY? WHY? WHY? What happened to Emergency Snow Routes Only? T Simons
Car left on street 3 hours after parking ban started. Forces plows to leave snow behind their car and takes forever for the pile of snow to melt and allow for someone to use that space. They do this every time there’s a parking ban.
Emergency government alerts to mobile devices should only be used for emergencies. A parking ban is not an emergency. Emergency alerts are loud and disruptive, and when abused by local governments for non emergency notifications people will turn off emergency alerts entirely. Please reserve emergency alerts for true emergencies.
There have been two large dogs roaming the neighborhood, mostly at night or early in the morning. One is black and white and the other is all black. They don’t appear to be mean but with the cold temperatures we have right now, it’s worrisome and frustrating. Not sure of the address but thinking it’s 2718 W Kansas St.
There are people standing in the medians at the knoxville / 150 intersection all day and night. Numerous times I have witnessed them walk through the middle of the intersection to the other in the dark while not even obeying traffic signals. They are going to get hit by a car if they continue to be allowed to panhandle there. This is incredibly dangerous for them and for motorists
Icy hill. Any chance we could get some salt put down on the hill on Northridge. With the melt and freeze this has caused a lot of ice on the hill making it hard to stop to pull into driveways. I have seen many slide and just waiting for someone to slide into a parked car, mailbox, etc. the grade on this hill is fairly steep.
After this last snow there is now a huge hole in the street. I’m also wondering if there is some sort of water leak because it’s 21 degrees out and the hole is filled with water that in theory should be ice.
