Owner is using home as an Air BNB, is not registered as one and considering this is a R4 residential area I know it is illegal to run one without be registered. This home single handedly is lowering my property value because of the people renting the house out on a weekly bases having large parties. Can someone from the city please look into this?
Home is being rented out but it is registered as owner occupied. James and Sheri Deweerdt live at 1906 Sheridan Rd, Pekin IL.
5833 mackinaw dr peoria il 61614. The property has been vacant for about 5 years. A service comes and mows when the grass gets so high it’s illegal. The bushes have grown over the windows and a door on garage is falling apart. No one ever appears to go inside and who knows what is in there. Bugs,rats,mold old food etc. a homeless person could be in there and I believe a bank owns it. Why can’t someone find out who this is and either fix it up or tear it down.
Pit bulls not contained. Dogs are getting out and are aggressive towards other dogs and people. The dogs have attacked and injured other dogs. Latest incident was 9/2/19.
I need a recycling tote. I do not have one.
I have been trying to get contact information for the landlord next door so I can talk to him/her about the dead tree in their yard. It hangs over my yard significantly and often drops large limbs. I’d like to discuss having it trimmed or even taken down but can’t seem to get their contact info.
House has been vacant for over 1 year. Yard is out of control. Tree limbs down and house not maintained.
It appears someone is residing in the garage on this property. The landlord/owner is unknown and inattentive to the worsening condition of the property.
I don’t believe this home is occupied and there is trash and discarded household items in the backyard as well as trash along the right side of the driveway which butts up to my home. The grass is getting high in the back and attracting snakes. Two came into my backyard from that property today.
First. The last person who lived in the home crashed his car into front foundation of house and the landlord didn’t fix it. The guy who crashed his car just but blocks back in wall and covered with mortar or something. Front of house tips out and sags down. Landlord does work in-house or has other guys do it. None of them are licensed contractors. Glass missing out of some of the windows. Garbage all over the yard. Now there is a black dog on this house that barks all day long. The dog is never on a leash no collar. Hose coming out of basement window ran to neighbors property! Always someone in this house that doesn’t live there. A building inspector needs to come look at this house before some one gets seriously hurt from this property. House has peeling paint all over it. Hole in roof. Shingles falling off roof. Gutter hanging down about to fall off. Plastic all tore up from windows. No curtains in windows so I have to keep my shut so we can’t see inside of this property next door! Please do something about this property! No human nor dog should be living I. This home. No deadbolts on doors. People always breaking in!
