Hello Peoria Cares - Please remove the abandoned grocery shopping cart from this location: N Broadway St, in the block between W Noland Ave and W MacQueen Ave. Additional notes / history (in case more investigation / follow up is desired): - This same issue occurred at this location in early April 2022 (thank you for resolving that case). See Peoria Cares Trash / Litter, case #46705 https://ureport.peoriagov.org/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=46705 It seems likely these stolen grocery carts are being left at this same location using a motor vehicle. This location is not within reasonable walking distance of any of the grocery stores from where these carts were taken. Thanks much, Eric Hutchison UPDATE; 05/19 Currently located at N. Broadways St. and W Thrush St. intersection
Property is completely overgrown with vegetation - If I didn't know different I would swear no one lives there. Seems to be a daycare of some sort operating out of this house...overgrown yard creates safety concern for those kids. Grass is 2' high and dandelions have gone to seed - resident has not mowed yet this season
Behind the garage in the backyard of the residence there is trash such as drawers, privacy fencing, a couch w/ no cushions, among other miscellaneous items. Weeds growing along and intertwined into fence line. Grass is tall and hasn't been cut yet this season.
Very tall grass and trash all over backyard.
It has been over a week and this stuff came from house at 2010 W. Proctor st, man was seen taking stuff from back of that address on Proctor and dumping all that into ally of yard that's right behind this house at 2009 W. Antoinette, took all the rest of their garbage and put over there to make their yard look clean up, garbage man will not pick that stiff up not being in a garbage can are put into bags. That's not right these people did this and put into someone else yard, as I said before the guys was seen doing this dumping into the yard alley across from the Proctor st address where it's all from, police were called to catch him doing it at time it was happening but they never came to catch him. Hope this can get cleaned up because that's what bring rodents into area.
There is a large pothole on Broadway at the intersection of Broadway and McClure. It's on Broadway in between Macqueen and McClure at the stop sign as you are turning off Broadway onto McClure right hand lane directly at the stop sign.
