Could we have signs posted for the people who use that park area, as a dog toilet and who do not pick up after their dogs?? It’s not just the residents of the Civic Center Plaza Apts but the Twin Towers as well. It’s not just an ordinance violation but a health hazard as dog feces carries bacteria and several types of microorganisms potentially pathogenic for humans as well as vaccinated dogs. There are children that play in both the grass areas! Not just parvovirus but salmonella and E. coli can be transmitted. And the fact that it take at least 12 months to break down AND it can contaminate the waterways which can transfer eventually, into our drinking water. I have even witnessed one person admitting that he doesn’t and won’t ever, pick up his 3 dogs’ feces. Please tell me what we can do?
