Multiple safety fences behind buildings blocking off sinkhole, bridge and sidewalk need to be erected again. City asked property to do so several weeks ago. Recent fire calls have caused them to be knocked down and these pose a danger to children and visually impaired resident.
The parking deck is about ready to collapse. Big chunks of concrete fall in the bottom parking level onto vehicles when someome is driving on the 2nd level, when it storms you have to dodge all the the waterfalls because the structure is deteriorating with gaping holes
Garage in back of property has major structual damage (holes in walls, leaning, window out, etc) and infested with rodents. This is a major safety concern. The property is vacant
Someone broke in through the side window and leaned the plywood against it from the inside. I saw someone come out of the window before. 616 Haungs Ave. Peoria
The problem house is located at 1221 N. Bourland Peoria, IL. 61606 - The house is located near my parents house. It is an unsafe structure that is hazardous to neighbors and children. It is in total disrepair. There is junk filling the whole front covered porch. A window is open on the second floor. I am sure there are critters inside. I am not sure if the occupant is there anymore, neighbors have not seen him in awhile. The garage is also in disrepair. The back yard is over grown with vines and brambles. They are also growing up through the back deck. You can see items stacked up near the front window that is wide open. I am asuming the entire house is hoarded.
There is a house by the creek on the 400 block of Hanssler. It burnt down last year and is an unsafe structure. We can tell now that someone is using the back door to go in and out. It needs to be destroyed or secured more than it is. I think people are squatting in there.. Thank you.
Windows have been boarded up longer than 6 months. Was this house abandoned? We have only seen raccoons going in and out of it for the last 6 months - no people.
