At least 15 souped up cars are gathered under the Michel bridge and are roaring up and down Water St at high speeds with loud mufflers. We are sitting inside our condo with doors and windows shut and it is very loud. It would be appreciated if the police would send a squad car to investigate.
Traffic consistently traveling too fast. Especially during morning commute hours. Unsafe for drivers and pedestrians
Buses are having trouble turning around on Academic Drive due to vehicles parking in the roadway. Any chance of putting up NO Parking signs.
People parked on road across from HGES where there are multiple NO PARKING signs. This happened yesterday too. Very dangerous creating a one lane road in the dark. Please enforce this. Thanks.
People parked on street where there are 5 NO PARKING signs across from Hickory Grove Elementary School. It’s dangerous and it creates a one lane road. Why aren’t the 5 NO PARKING signs ever enforced? The school needs to add parking so people don’t have to drive down a one lane road when coming home in the dark. They get enough of my tax dollars to do this. It’s ridiculous and if I ever get hit on the road I will be sueing the school. Get this fixed already. I don’t understand what the problem is. People need to learn how to read. Perhaps they can enroll themselves in HGES. How did they ever get a drivers license if they park in NO PARKING zones?
At the intersection of Townline Rd and Allen Rd in Peoria, there is an ongoing issue of a backup of cars turning North onto Allen Rd from West Townline Rd (leaving Walmart/Menards). It seems reasonable to make 2 left turn lanes for traffic heading North on Allen Rd. This would alleviate the constant backup of cars at the traffic light. Thank you.
