I would like to make a complaint about a property at 2241 N Bigelow St. this house has been abandoned for at least 5 years and no one will take accountability for the property. It is literally falling apart.
Has windows that have been boarded up for several years. AGAIN - THIS HOUSE HAS BEEN IN VIOLATION FOR YEARS. PLEASE MAKE THE OWNER TEAR IT DOWN.
The electricity and Gas have been shut off for over 3 weeks. 3 people and 2 dogs live here and these people (2 women and one man) are older people. I would guess 50s? They now use old wood and start a fire outside in the lawn and I suppose cook their dinners.
Please review the duplex property note the broken out window (hanging windows) with broken blinds inside, and lately the drapes (curtains) flapping outside window. This duplex is a rental and the landlord needs to have tenants follow codes and have his ‘renters’ live up to neighborhood….we are not slumming down to ‘theirs’ (owner and renters). All of us residents (owners and renters) on the North side of the street would appreciate your attention to these ‘negative’ issues. Thank you
This PC has also been sent to Community Development to deal with the the issues they would need to focus on. We need change. Everyone is tired of dealing with their crap! Multiple issues with the tenants that live there. They've had the cops called several times to residence for different things such as being drunk, loud, plays music all through the night real loud, kids spray painting the neighborhood, the pitbull is never leashed and chases everyone aggressively,The children watch each other. Most of the time there's only a few young children outside by themselves. Very unsafe as everyone speeds down this road and blows stop signs all the time, the garbage is insane. Not sure anyone in that house has been taught how to use a garbage can. It's down right disgusting. City has made them pick it up before but it doesn't matter because as soon as it gets picked up they litter. House has busted window and probably has animals living in it. Not sure that's safe to have children living in conditions such as. House next to them is abandoned and needs attention as well. Looks as if people squat in it. If Peoria really cares we would love to see some kind of change to actually know that you do care! Thanks

At 720 E. Maywood the occupants have tore down parts of a covered outdoor porch with wood beams all over the back part of the driveway and a half covered up tore apart car.
The water draining from the top of the hill from the apartment buildings which subsequently turns into a sheet of ice all the way down the hill. It's ridiculous we pay for a storm water tax when we don't even have a storm drain in this entire neighborhood.
Good morning I spoke to I believe he said his name was Dwight this morning about water coming from 616 E Paris residents last name of Jones running into the street and into 620 E paris yards flooding it which is causing us major issue because we are in the process of putting in a concrete driveway to access 620 E Paris handicap ramp.
