Black plastic on windows, but audible construction noise coming from unit during working hours. Ceiling grid and electrical has been removed.
They are building (well, they started and never finished) a large structure in their backyard that is much taller than their tall fence. No permits are posted and a neighbor told me that they told them they didn’t need to take any permits out and it isn’t a big deal. It is a huge and very tall shed that is being put up by someone with no experience and it is right next to their pool! This is not safe and is a violation for not building a structure by going through zoning or getting a permit! This is an eyesore and should be taken down. I live behind them on the alley and don’t think this is okay!
Demolition has been going on for more than a year. Is the demolition permit still valid or has it expired? This site is a hazard and eyesore to the neighborhood and needs cleaned up ASAP. Trailer is parked on private property. Nails and debris is being left in parking lot and public alley behind the property. This can’t continue for another year!!
Turned their garage into a room. No visible permit posted. Also built a plywood shed and it is structurally supported by pvc pipping. Possibly over 10 feet tall.
Fence being constructed. Fences are prohibited by the plat for this subdivision.

Building/Business facing Garden (Black Alliance and other unknown business in same building on Tyng side) has no visible posted,permits, yet minor work is seen done from time to time and dumpsters are placed and removed periodically at different times. When the work or dumpster is visible, No Posted Permits are EVER visible or provided. When the City Code Enforcement Officer was asked why this occurs, He stated that “the business in a work in progress” ?.? What does that mean and why do they not need permits like every other business owner ? When the City CEbOffice was called, staff stated that the reported business had no current permits on file for anything. The building doesn’t follow City Code for front of business requirements for 70+% coverage with glass. Owner has repeatedly complained of surrounding businesses not following codes and those owners have been to court and or fined for same exterior work. When checked, The reported business has no record of any court appearances or fines. The,owner isn’t following Codes as I have read them pertaining to business requirements. The business is also allowed to open and operate with No Off Street parking or (lot), although they tell their customers to park in an adjacent privately owned, leased lot West of Tyng that they have no permission to use or pay any lease monies to the lot owner. Please review this as I have assisted many businesses in the area and it seems this business gets a “Pass” for some unknown reason(s).
