The Emergency room cannot see clients in a timely manner. I have been sitting in the waiting room for over 6 hours without being seen. This is outrageous. There must be some way to make a hospital accountable. Obviously, the City of Peoria does not currently do this. There are 3 hospitals here and I just cannot understand why our medical care here is so substandard. I have been hospitalized in Asia more than once. Their medical care far exceeds what we get here and that was a Third World country.
Boarded up house on corner seemingly has squatters gaining access. Plywood over doors is removed and sometimes replaced each day. Clearly someone has gained access and is in and out of there on a daily basis. Plywood is often removed from doors late afternoon.
There is an approximately 6ft diameter 4ft tall pile of tree limbs on the edge of the property VERY close to the sidewalk. It has been there for more than two weeks. The pile is on the side street at the top of the North St hill.
