Abandoned vehicle. Has damage to the side.
Neighbor has left a vehicle on the street for 4 years now. It doesn’t run and he has no intention of moving it on his own. He doesn’t have updated registration. Last year he was threatened with towing and he went and put a new sticker on it to get the city and HOA off his back. Our HOA has complained to the city but no tickets have been issued the entire time. Our postal carrier won’t deliver unless we clear the snow left behind that the plows drop off in front of our mailbox. This is unnecessary work for my and I have a bad back. I realize Peoria has issues with crime and this isn’t a priority. Towing or issuing a hefty ticket will motivate him since he’s very frugal. Please do something. If anything, a ticket will help pay for a couple of the plow drivers over the past couple days. We want to sell our home in a few months and anyone interested will notice the inoperable car and the hayfield he calls his yard. Him parking on the street is technically in front of his property but makes it so we can’t park in the street without our vehicles hanging over our driveway. I believe his address is 2315 Jubilee lane. Thank you!
