sr#54392 Stop sign down (Glen Oak & Berkeley)
One traffic signal green bulb is out.
SR#53798 Is there a way to adjust the University/Columbia Terrace light? During the week, the stoplight seems to make cars wait a long time to turn out of the Uplands, between the hours of 6a and 8pm. (You’re the engineer - you would know the exact timing way better than me. Could we try changing this from 7a-7p?) Is there a way to relax this on Saturdays and Sundays? We frequently wait 2-3 minutes to turn out of the Uplands on the weekends, often when there is little to no traffic on University. Thank you for the consideration!!
SR#53796 When turning left from Southbound Maplewood onto Main St., if a pedestrian presses the “walk” button, they are given priority to the left-turning car, which is fine, but the car doesn’t get a left turn cycle after the pedestrian crosses. And, if a second pedestrian presses the bottom after the first crosses the street, the left-turning car sits through another cycle without being able to turn. I make this turn everyday and it didn’t use to be like this. Could the car get a left turn arrow after the pedestrian crosses?
Hello, the beacons to cross the street are not working when activated. Thanks for your help.
We NEED longer signals. Traffic is backed up and signal only last seconds!!!
SR#53476 Traffic signal at NE corner of University and Columbia Terrace: red light not working. Green arrow does work.
Several of the "do not walk" pedestrian signals do not illuminate at the intersection of Prospect and War Memorial.
There have been several incidents where I am at the 3 way stop and several cars will just blow right through both stop signs that are at Nottingham. It got so bad once that a resident put signs saying caution children at play and wrote on the back of the sign “Slow down please”. One specific incident happened this evening. My husband and I were returning home and at a complete stop at the stop sign on Nottingham. As we were turning left onto Jester, a car came flying at us on Nottingham ignoring the stop sign going at least 30 mph and wasn’t planning on slowing down. He swerved in plenty of time because if he didn’t, he would have hit our car. I walk my dog on this route often and I am truly concerned for the safety of people walking as people aren’t paying attention driving. Either remove the stop signs or make them bigger or put a cop there at times to actually see what happens. This needs to stop.
The red light from Columbia Terrace turning on to University is at least 2 minutes in the morning traffic. Can anything be done to change that wait time? Thank you.
