Car continue to park in handicap parking spots in front of OSF and Baby Shoppe all day long, not allowed people who need those spots to park there. We have called the police numerous times and nothing is ever done about it.
SR#64573 Caller reported there is a motorcycle that is parked on the street with bricks sitting around it. Once the owner of the motorcycle leaves the parking space, he leaves the bricks near the curb (in the street) to block anyone from parking in the spot where he sits his motorcycle. Caller also reported that he has left his trash cans out for three weeks now and does not bring them in after the garbage truck runs.
SR#63873 JC Dillon and IL American Water have dug up our street to fix a water main. Because of this we can not access our driveway. Last time they did this they put metal plates over the ditch so we could at least safely park our cars. This time they have refused to do that. It’s not safe or physically accessible for me to park down the block. Can the city please ask them to make our driveway accessible temporarily when they are knit actively working on the street? Calls to their office have been ignored.
The handicap spots in the strip parking lot are continually(all day everyday) used by people picking up food or shopping at the baby shoppe. This creates an ongoing issue for OSF.
We have a truck and a car who park facing traffic rather than away from traffic. The truck seldom moves from its spot.

Caller reported that Harris Uniform at 1025 N. Sheridan Rd. does not have a designated parking spot for Handicap Accessible parking. Caller said he contacted the Planning Dept. 5 months ago and still unable to access parking. He said he checked on the status of this report and someone deleted it. He would like to see this issue taken care immediately.
large motor home parked on street from Friday to Tuesday
Currently parking is only allowed on one side of the 2200 block of W. Geneva Rd. Unfortunately with the parking on the east side of the street there are fire hydrants, mailboxes and driveways. The entire street as it is right now can only accommodate 4 parking spaces. If the west side of the street were available to park on instead of the east side it could accommodate 15 vehicles. Not to mention easier access for mailman with no obstructions (Especially in the winter with the snow plows).
