Refrigerator on the front porch. Safety hazard for children
Front windows have been boarded up for over 6 months. Absentee property owner.
multiple work orders put in for the window leak and the mold in the apartment, no one has addressed this. now I have an infection and am afraid it could open me up to getting more ill. mold is rampant throughout the buildings
I have been taking in standing water into my apartment off and on for the last several weeks. My apartment is “refurbished”, yet appears the foundation is not providing a safe structure for me to live in. With snow and rainfall coming, I imagine this is a problem that this building will continue to have and has had in the past. Neighbors have complained about finding black mold, and I do not want my puppy and I to live in such a place. Mo updates have been given as to what the building’s course of action is other than “they are working on it.” I want to know if this building is up to code, whether it can be condemned, and if we can terminate our leases based on the Village on University’s failure to meet living standards for its tenants. I live at apartment 1101, but know all buildings are having issues. Thank you.
Door to outside of building fixed but still exposed wires just dangling from exit sign.
Neighbor put up a pretty high flag pole in front yard and a car has been in driveway on lifters for months. Could someone come out to inspect just to make sure what they are doing is safe and legal.

Exit sign in rear of building has exposed wires dangling from it, it is not secured, and door is wide open bringing in debris and rain. Other tenants in the building have put in work orders with front desk that have gone largely unanswered. I live close to that door and the rain and trash coming in make my apt very cold and hard to maintain good temperature.
exposed wires on exit sign, door that connects to exit sign is broke and will not close letting in cold air, debris, and animals. This has been reported to property manager many times
My neighbor (@ 5519 N Cedarwilde ct) had parked his car with its rear wheel (on the passenger side) on a jack since March this year. It has become a hazar in our neighborhood. The owner of the house had ignored other neighbors’ concerns and advices. Please help to remove this hazard he had created.
