multiple work orders put in for the window leak and the mold in the apartment, no one has addressed this. now I have an infection and am afraid it could open me up to getting more ill. mold is rampant throughout the buildings
I have been taking in standing water into my apartment off and on for the last several weeks. My apartment is “refurbished”, yet appears the foundation is not providing a safe structure for me to live in. With snow and rainfall coming, I imagine this is a problem that this building will continue to have and has had in the past. Neighbors have complained about finding black mold, and I do not want my puppy and I to live in such a place. Mo updates have been given as to what the building’s course of action is other than “they are working on it.” I want to know if this building is up to code, whether it can be condemned, and if we can terminate our leases based on the Village on University’s failure to meet living standards for its tenants. I live at apartment 1101, but know all buildings are having issues. Thank you.
Door to outside of building fixed but still exposed wires just dangling from exit sign.
