If the property is currently occupied and the issue is not resolved by the homeowner or resident, a City contractor will be sent to the property within approximately 7 business days to address the issue and the property owner will be billed for any and all work done. Details:

This home is unoccupied and there are limbs in the front yard and 18" high grass in the backyard. I have met with a city inspector who promised the yard would be cleaned up 3 weeks age and nothing has been done. According to the City of Peoria Code of Ordinances, Chapter 13, Section 4, this lot with an unoccupied structure should be cleaned up once the grass is over 8" high. Try nothing done for the last 6 months. I am not sure that Peoria does CARE. I have included my phone number and email address, please have someone contact me.
